1-D Motion with Constant Acceleration Calculation
The calculator calculates the one dimensional (1-D) motion with constant acceleration.
The motion can be describe in the terms of velocity, time, displacement and acceleration. Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity.
Formula Used:
x(t) = 1/2(at2) + v0t + x0
Where,
x(t) = Position at time t,
a = 9.8 m/s2 (Gravity of Earth)
v0 = Velocity at time t=0,
x0 = Position at time t=0,
t = Time
Examples of one-dimensional motions
One dimensional motion describes objects moving in straight lines for example Vehicals moving on a straight road or a person walking down a hallway or Motion of a train on straight track.
Constant acceleration or Uniform acceleration
The Constant acceleration and The Uniform acceleration mean the same thing. The rate of change of velocity with respect to time must remain the same at all times.
