Scalars and vectors
Scalar is the measurement of a medium strictly in magnitude
Vector are equal if they have the same magnitude and direction.
Vector must have the same unit in order for them to be added or subtracted
Subtraction of vector is defined by adding a negative vector
Vector is a measurement that allows to all the magnitude of the medium as well as the direction of the movement the medium has taken.
Quantity of the is the absolute no directional component in scalar quality only the magnitude of the medium.it can be defines as ..
Time :
In this we will measure of years and months hours date and all related things etc .
Volume:
scalar quantity can refer to the volume of the medium, as how much of the medium is present.
Everything from tons to ounces to grams, milliliters and micrograms are all scalar quantities, as long as they are applied to the medium being measured and not the movement of the medium
Speed and temperature :
we more mainly used scalar quantities in physical calculations are speed and temperature. As long as they are not associated with a directional movement, they remain scalar quantities.
in instance, the measurement of speed in miles or kilometers-per-hour or the measurement of the temperature of the medium both remain scalar quantities as long as they aren’t associated with the direction of the medium’s travel
