Determine the water flow rate in horizontal open channels, rivers and sewage plants based on the values of discharge constant, width of the weir and head on the weir using the Bazin's formula.

Formula

q = 0.66 × Cd × b × (2g)0.66 × h1.5

Where,

q = Water Flow Rate

Cd = Discharge Constant

b = Width of the Weir

g = Gravity (9.81 m/s²)

h = Head on the Weir
