BHN Brinell Hardness Number Test

The Calculator calculates the BHN (Brinell Number). BHN is the numerical value assigned to the hardness of alloys and metals. The testing is to determining the hardness of a metal by pressing a steel ball of a standard size into the metal using a standard force.
Formula: BHN = (2*P) / [ (pi*D)(D - sqrt(D2-d2)) ]

Load (P) :  Kilogram Force
Steel Ball Diameter (D) : millimeter
Depression Diameter (d) : millimeter
