Roman Numerals Calculation

Roman Numbers were used in Europe until the 18th century and even today used for certain applications. Roman numerals were the standard system of numbering used by the Romans for counting in past. Roman numerals were adapted from the Etruscan numerals system. Letters represents the values as numerals. It is not a positional system and have no symbol of zero.
The Roman Numbers are use in clock faces, chapter numbering and class of students ( I - XII). For example: DCCLXVI means: 500 + 100 + 100 + 50 + 10 + 5 + 1 = 766
